I rarely test on android platform, but the following are recommended to solve math problems like symbolab, mathpapa, mathway, math scanner-math solutions pro and cymath. Those are just small files. Its database uses around 175 billion parameters on accumulated general knowledge - with some areas of math included. GPT4 (ChatGPT Plus with 1.76 trillion parameters) performs better but is still not reliable in all areas of math at this time. Math has so many variables that limit GPTs from responding perfectly.

However, some GPTs or LLMs are specifically designed to solve math problems, including basic math, arithmetic, algebra, trigonometry, and higher math. To do this, they use additional custom training data. Some AI use multiple GPT/LLM with their math training data to get the right responses. These custom GPTs trained for math problems are called custom GPTs.
