Closed Powerpoint not responding

Hi all.
When I open Microsoft PowerPoint , it pops up with following error, PowerPoint Not Responding
I have no idea on how to fix it.
Do you have any suggestions on how to fix PowerPoint?

Office 2010
Windows 8

I think either reinstall it again and if same problem occur the problem is your hardware, either Ram or Hardisk

Reboot.. Re-install/repair.....
