Closed Broken

hello again. as the title suggests, this poem is called broken. this is one of my experiences told through a poem.

I am like glass
Pieces are shattered
You made it clear in the past
That it woudnt have mattered

I thought my feelings were true
And ended up hurting you
When will i pay my due?
I still dont have a clue

Id leave everything behind
Look for a solution till im blind
When will i ever find?
The happiness you want thats one of a kind

I wish you to be happy
Even though its not with me
Now i am setting you free
Ill walk away, stand tall like a tree
