To put it another way.. God is a proxy for an ideal and potential for improvement. So on one hand meron magandang dulot ang mamuhay as if merong God (which does not mean believing in a sky father). It prevents us from being stagnant and keeps humans trying to always attain for more.

There is a false believe that the more you know, the less "God" there is. Pero in actuality the more you learn, the more questions you have, which really means more "God of the gaps". More potential.

But as we know, meron klase ng belief in God which prevents them for achieving more. This is more a product of the invention of Satan as an idea, wherein satan is anything that is different from tradition and convention. This kind of God belief goes exactly to stagnation. Kaya matagal na tlgang patay ang mga belief na ito.. binubuhay nalng ng control and greed preying on the poor, troubled, lonely and weak.

god was invented because there is no scientific method that time, there is no proper way to acquiring knowledge, nalulunod ang mga tao sa dami ng unknowns at sobrang na-amazed sila sa mga nakikita nila pero wala silang mahanap na explanation so they invented someone that can serve as answer to all these unknowns and we all know that this invention is not a product of scientific method
