In Christian heaven, you’ll be able to sit on a nice comfy cloud and play a harp all day long. Since the Christians were deceived into thinking that they were living the good life, they will be deceived into thinking they are experiencing the good death - heaven! To many of us non-believers, that sounds boring, it sounds like hell. But there’s a good reason behind it all.
Heaven is where the Christian God sends people who succumb to his threats and seek his rewards. Their fear of God makes them obey. Of course, obedience is not morality - it leverages a person’s egotistic nature, via promises of that very same heaven in order to avoid eternal torture. There’s no morality involved. In fact, the only place that good morals are pushed in the Bible is one place in Matthew, where Hammurabi’s Golden Rule is restated.
So then, there has to be something more!
Of course there is. Those compassionate people who serve man, who are kind and helpful, who contribute to the greater good because of their morals, not because of selfish objectives and blind obedience - will be truly rewarded. They will experience true happiness in their lives. They won’t fear the wrath of God; they won't give away ten percent of their money to a con-man or willingly suffer the lack of pleasures in life because those things are labelled off-limits by their imaginary sky fairy.
Meanwhile, if there is a real god, then he is watching all of this with some high-quality headphones on, listening to great music and enjoying a beer, laughing at the stupid humans.

How about you guys?

Many Christians compare their heaven to the bhuddist Nirvana. Many of them would insist it is pareho lng un, just in different context. In one sense it is true as both are the ultimate goal. Pero, what we need to look at is a person's predisposition to get there to see the critical difference.

Christian desire heaven because it is a place of ultimate Joy. Nirvana is a state of indifference and apathy. Bhuddist attains it through the lack of desire.

Ibig sabihin, bhuddists also do not seek heaven to avoid hell. It is about letting go of everything, good or bad. While the Christian quest to heaven is mainly driven by desire.

So, effectively, for a Christian aiming for heaven, Nirvana would be the worst place, and for a bhuddist aiming for Nirvana, the second quote is on point. The heaven idea is one of this world's traps exploiting our egotism.

The most practical religion ang Buddhism raw. Sabi.

Sabi nga ni Einstein, "If there is any religion that would cope with modern scientific needs, it would be Buddhism.”

Yung practicality ng meditation from Buddhism ay associated din po siya sa neuroscience. Meron effect raw sa brain kapag on going practice of meditation po.
