- Christianity and Islam are similar in essential teachings, but vary in interpretations
- For Example, let us compare the concept of god in old Testament the new testament and then the Holy Quran to get a better picture
The Concept of God in the old Testament
- In Deuteronomy 6:4-9, the oneness of god is Mention in the following words:
your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. and these words that command
you today shall be on your heart. you shall teach them diligently to your children, etc
* This is the first commandment of the bible, in which Moses teaches the Concept of God
(Which is the spirit of religion)
* Here, no partner has been attributed to God
- Unfortunately, the Christian say that when moses spoke of God he presented an incomplete picture which is why he did not preach Trinity
(Which according to them, is Trinity)
The Concept of God in the New Testament
- In Mark 12:28-30, jesus was asked about the most important commandment, to which he eloquently replied
* Therefore, as is evident from this quote, jesus was also preaching the unity of God just like Moses and he taught nothing apart from that
He never mentioned the concept of Trinity - Why should the Christians believe in it then?
* The fact is that the New testament has given an incomplete picture of God and no one has harmed this important concept more than paul
O ano sabi ni jesus hindi naman sya nag sabi Lord is two pero the Lord is one Walang iba
The Concept of God in the Holy Qur'an
- Like the Bible, the first commandment of the holy Quran concerns the unity of God
- Thus, God Says in Surah al-Baqarah, Verses 22-23:
- The Bible's is very vague - all it says is that God should be loved; how or why? it does not say
* Worship is an extreme level of love - we all love our parents, for example but we would never worship them
The Islamic concept of God is Flawless and no religion can Match it Because they have no solid Beliefs
It's up to you believe it or not God is god im just sharing my knowledge about religion as long as we live mga ka phc
