1. Go foods are carbohydrates that give us energy such as rice, bread, and oatmeal. Grow foods are rich in protein which help with growth and repair such as eggs, nuts, and milk. Glow foods are rich in vitamins and minerals that keep us healthy such as fruits and vegetables. Examples of these foods in each meal include: for breakfast, oatmeal (go), nuts or eggs (grow), and berries (glow); for lunch, rice (go), chicken or tuna (grow), and salad (glow); for dinner, bread (go), fish or beef (grow), and steamed vegetables (glow).
2. Following the Pinggang Pinoy idea, I can draw a plate with half filled with fruits and vegetables for the glow group and the remaining half divided into two, with one portion for the rice or bread (go) and the other portion for lean meat or fish (grow). I can also bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
3. Proper nutrition and a balanced diet are important for overall health and well-being. This means consuming a variety of foods from each food group, such as fruits and vegetables, lean protein, and whole grains, in the right proportions. Adequate nutrition helps to maintain a healthy weight, support growth and development, and prevent chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease.
4. As a student, I can keep myself healthy by eating a balanced diet following the Pinggang Pinoy concept, engaging in regular physical activity, and getting enough sleep. 5. The picture shows a plant that is starting to wither but still has a green color. It appears physically weak and the leaves are starting to droop. The plant may be withered due to lack of water, sunlight or nutrients. To prevent this, the plant should be watered regularly and given the necessary nutrients and sunlight to thrive.
6. Water is essential to life as it plays a vital role in many bodily functions, such as regulating body temperature, transporting nutrients, and flushing out waste. It helps to keep the body hydrated, which is important for maintaining healthy skin, digestion, and kidney function. Drinking enough water also helps to prevent dehydration and the negative effects it can have on the body.

10. Nutrition, hydration, and relaxation play vital roles in my life, especially when doing recreational activities with my loved ones. Eating a balanced diet and staying hydrated helps to sustain my energy and prevent fatigue during these activities. Getting enough sleep helps to improve my mood and concentration, making me more present and engaged with my loved ones. Overall, prioritizing these aspects of health helps me to enjoy these experiences to the fullest.
