"But the men would not listen to him. So the man took his concubine and sent her outside to them,"
and they raped her and abused her throughout the night, and at dawn they let her go."

Whether you believe it or not, the Bible never contradicted itself.

1 Samuel 15:3
"Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy all that belongs to them. Do not spare them;
put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.”

Huwag pumatay, vs sige patayin niyo (lalake, babae, bata, sanggol, pati mga hayop)

(Again healthy discussion lang naman lods.)

Ang original bible commandment regarding killing in hebrew actually said "thou shall not murder." Murder is a very specific kind of killing.

Or dahil ba vengeance ito, so different case?

I a adjust ba natin ang bible verses according to the current norms

Kung tutuusin following your logic, we should also abolish monogamy dahil may ****** nmn na to protect us from std.

So ang point is:
1. The bible was not written as a manual to live our life word by word. It is merely a history of our psychology for us to learn how people think in the past. If viewed that way, there is no "conflict"

2. Even if some details are outdated, there are truths we can learn, but we have to adjust the context to what science already knows. Example: bawal daw kumain ng baboy, so tatanungin mo kung bakit, then you will find na hindi pala baboy ang problema kung hindi ung improper na preparation nito, so ang bawal tlga ay ang kumain ng hilaw na karne.
