“Trust in Jehovah with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways take notice of him, and he will make your paths straight.”—Proverbs 3:5, 6, New World Translation.

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”—Proverbs 3:5, 6, New International Version.

no, you failed to continue his challenges.
in that verse it was promised that he will take care of my paths, he has taken responsibility over it, challenge has nothing to do with the responsibility na inako niya, he turned out being irresponsible

We should look to Jehovah God for direction rather than making important decisions all on our own.

Note the expression “do not lean upon your own understanding.” It is followed by “take notice of [Jehovah].” He is the One with a truly sound mind. Thus, it follows that whenever we are faced with a decision, we need to turn to the Bible to see what God’s view is. Then we should base our decision on it. That is using the spirit of a sound mind—imitating Jehovah’s mind.

this only applies to those who agree with the things that god has done

but for those who disagree with genocide, murder of children, terrorizing the human race, endorsement of slavery, debasement of women, raping a vίrgin to get her pre̾gnant along with many screwed up rules, it cannot be so easy to accept that god has a sound mind to which christian slaves justify that "he is god thus everything he does is all good"

Trivia - Why Does God Allow Suffering?

ano religion mo boss? jehovas witness?
Yes, boss. Study pa lang

who says those people killed are suffering? they have not given the chance to suffer, they were murdered right away. it is clear that it is god who did all these things (genocide, murder, rape, slavery) and not satan
Read it again but slowly with an open mind. 😉

Sinisisi mo ang Diyos sa mga nangyari/nangyayaring 'yan. ( Kahit magkaiba tayo ng pananaw) So, you acknowledge that there is a creator. Tama po ba?

no need to read again, i got the very interpretation and you can't say anything but just read again

pagsisi ng sinuman is non-sense, para lang iyon sa near stu̾pid person (linya iyan ng theist when non-theists say something they can't object), he just had done something unacceptable and that is all the myth (that enslave almost all of humanity) is about

Ano po pagkakaintindi niyo? Hehe (Hindi naman compulsory pagsagot dito)

Ayy, sige. Revise ko.

Sinasabi mong ang Diyos ang rason kung bakit nangyari/nangyayari ang mga masasamang bagay na binanggit mo. (Kahit magkaiba tayo ng pananaw) So, you acknowledge that there is a creator. Tama po ba o mali?
