Isaiah 49:16 (KJV) Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.

Even when we feel like our lives are in ruins, God has not forgotten us. He has engraved us in His palms. We are permanently in His hands, and nothing can erase us or remove us from those hands. Though we see only hopelessness, the hands of God protect and care for us. Though our walls crumble, the hands of God rebuild and restore.

Father, God, my hope is in You alone. I feel the weight of my own sin and the onslaught of my enemies. Even as the walls of my life crumble around me, You remind me that I am Yours. Thank You for the safety and comfort of Your loving hands. Please rebuild what has been torn down, and hold me close as You teach me to trust You more. In Jesus’ name, amen.
