Incoming first year college po ako and ang napili ko pong course ay IT for 1st choice and CS for 2nd choice.

Medyo kinakabahan lang po ako. Naiisip ko po kasi na what if masyadong magagaling yung mga magiging kaklase ko?

Any tips po?

Congratulations on choosing IT or CS as your courses for college! It's understandable to feel nervous about starting in a new environment, especially if you're coming from a different educational background.

Firstly, don't worry too much about your classmates being "too good." Remember that you are all starting at the same level in college, and everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses. Also, it's important to have a growth mindset and be open to learning from your classmates. They can be great resources for you to improve your skills and knowledge.

Next, don't be too hard on yourself if you encounter difficulties in your coursework. College can be challenging, and it's normal to struggle sometimes. Reach out to your professors or classmates for help if needed, and take advantage of any available resources such as tutoring services or study groups.

It's great that you've already started practicing Javascript and creating web games. Keep up the practice and continue to explore new programming languages and technologies. Don't be afraid to experiment and make mistakes - that's how you learn and grow as a programmer.

Lastly, remember to take care of yourself and prioritize your well-being. College can be stressful, but make sure to find time for hobbies, relaxation, and socializing with friends. Balancing your academic and personal life is crucial for success in college and beyond.

Overall, just stay positive, work hard, and be open to learning and growth. Best of luck on your college journey!
