"Anong ginagawa ng Diyos bago niya likhain ang universe?"
-----------------
TCB ANSWER
Nagka-kape? De-joke.
Siguro sumagi na rin sa isip ninyo yung tanong na 'to or somehow, narinig na rin ninyo ‘tong tanong na 'to sa kung sino mang curious believer diyan sa tabi-tabi. What was God doing with all His time before He created?
Isang nakakalokong sagot at isang seryoso. Gets ba?
In other words, nagsimula lang ang time nung creation. Walang oras before it, kaya it's unreasonable to assume na God spent "some time" bago ang creation. We should remember na God is timeless kaya He is never bounded by time. As Norman Geisler puts it, "The world did not begin by a creation in time but by a creation of time." Nagsimula ang buong creation the moment na umiral na rin ang oras, and vice versa.
Pero may mag-aarise na panibagong tanong: If there was no time before time began, what was there? Eternity.
God is eternal and the only thing prior sa time was eternity.
"Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God." (Psalm 90:2 NIV)
Sa isang banda, ang tanong na “anong ginagawa ng Diyos bago niya likhain ang lahat” has an underlying implication kung nakakaramdam ba ng “boredom” ang Diyos before Syang lumikha. Pagkabagot ba ang nagtulak sa Diyos to create?
No way! Remember, boredom is a sign of imperfection and dissatisfaction, mga bagay na wala sa Diyos, kaya imposible Syang makaramdam ng ganyan. According pa rin kay Geisler, "An infinitely creative mind can always find something interesting to do." A perfect God can never feel bored. Tayo lang naman mga tao ang possibility na ma-bored simply because we have limitations sa attention span natin.
Also, though hindi naman direktang sinabi kung anong mga ginagawa Nya sa eternity before the creation, the Bible stated some details proving na hindi naman Sya inactive or walang ginagawa talaga.
"Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world." (Jn 17:24 NIV)
"Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes." (Eph 1:4 NLT)
"For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus."(2 Tim 1:9 NLT)
"...in the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time." (Titus 1:2 NIV)
"...everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain." (Rev 13:8 ESV)
Lastly, God has Three Persons who are in perfect fellowship with each other. Ang promise of eternal life ay pinangako na sa eternity palang (Titus 1:2). Kanino Sya nangako? Sa sarili nya, which is ang isa-t isa. Obviously, God communicated the plan to Himself---sa lahat Persons of the Trinity. Which means eversince, they have each other. The different members of Trinity love and communicate with each other. There is no way such a being could get bored or lonely!
PS. It is interesting to note na 'pag binabanggit yung before the creation, laging nire-relate 'to sa mga pinili ng Diyos, which is tayong mga believers. This points us to the truth that we are indeed loved by an everlasting love (Jer 31:3). Even before pang likhain ang lahat, God chose to love His people. And we love, dahil Sya ang unang nagmahal sa'tin (1 Jn 4:19).
