"Amor fati" is a Latin phrase that translates to "love of fate" or "love of one's fate." It is a concept popularized by the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, who saw it as an essential aspect of living a fulfilling and meaningful life.

Amor fati is the acceptance and embrace of everything that happens in one's life, both the positive and the negative. It is a philosophy that encourages individuals to fully embrace and affirm their life circumstances, recognizing that everything that occurs is necessary and contributes to their overall growth and development.

According to Nietzsche, rather than resenting or trying to escape from difficult or unpleasant experiences, individuals should cultivate a love and gratitude for their fate. By embracing the totality of their lives, including the hardships and suffering, individuals can find meaning and purpose in every moment.

Amor fati does not advocate for a passive resignation to one's circumstances or a denial of the ability to change one's fate. Instead, it emphasizes an active engagement with life, a willingness to take responsibility for one's choices, and a recognition that even the most challenging experiences can be opportunities for personal growth and self-overcoming.

In essence, amor fati encourages individuals to say "yes" to life in its entirety, to embrace both the joys and the sorrows, and to find meaning and fulfillment in their existence. It is a philosophy that encourages a positive and empowering perspective on one's life journey.

I've been watching and listening to stoicism videos on YøùTùbé and in spotify. I agree po sa kanilang philosophy kaso ang hirap po talaga gawin. Lalo na may pinagdadaanan ka.
