Life isn’t always plain sailing and it can be easy to fall into negative habits. A lot of trial and error goes into developing a life that best serves you. Without further a do. Here are 7 habits that should make you happier than most.

1. Live in the here and now. You can’t unlock your true potential by being fixated on what happened in the past or what could happen in the future. Learn to start focusing on what you can control which is the present. Get out of your comfort zone. Time waits for no one.

2. Learn to love yourself. If you can’t love yourself then how can you expect others to ? You can start off by developing positive self talk. If you wouldn’t say it to a family member or friend, don’t say it to yourself. Be confident in who you are, you are more than enough.

3. Appreciate what you have. Your happiness is robbed from you on a daily basis because you focus on wanting more. From now on focus on what you do have, make sure you are truly grateful for what is in your life before searching for more Your energy and well being will improve

4. Look after yourself. There is an old saying that goes something like.. Those who are healthy have 1000 wishes, those who are sick have 1. Your health and well being in most cases can be improved. Eat well Get your body moving Develop a night time routine.

5. Know your self worth. You can forgive but there is no obligation to forget. Rid yourself of any grudge mindest by forgiving, however make anyone that takes you for granted aware of their behaviour. You are just as good as everyone else make sure you are treated that way.

6. Find the right people. You are said to be like the 5 people you spend the most time with. So choose wisely, surround yourself with people that not only support you but encourage you to grow. Life becomes easier when you have a network to rely on.

7. Make your own happiness. Opportunities come to those that knock. (On the door of success) You can see that a lot of people in life wish their life away expecting good things to just simply happen. Unfortunately this is not the case. Life is there for the taking. Grab it.
