A fellow goes to a Zen master to learn swordsmanship and asks "If I work very hard, how soon can I become a master?"
The master looks at him and says- "Ten years. Maybe."
The fellow says- "Oh! What if I work far more intensively?"
The master eyes him and says- "Twenty."
Taken aback with the answer, the fellow asks him "But why? I will double up my efforts; I really want to master this art in the shortest time."
To which the master replies- "A man in such a hurry as you seldom learns quickly."
