Closed Website Filter sa laptop/android wifi hotspot? Whitelisting?

Mga boss, meron po bang way para mafilter ang mga website or malimit lang ung website na pwedeng maaccess? like for example gusto ko YøùTùbé lang pwedeng ma access ng lahat ng coconnect sakin? TIA

Yes possible. Kung yung router mo ay may Domain Name Filter. Add ka lang ng wesite sa whitelist, yun lang pwede maaccess nila, sa blacklist naman kapag gusto mo iblock yung access nila sa certain site

If si Android ang Host, sa pagkaka alam ko po merong app na "FocusMe" or "Stay Focus" na pwede ka po makapag block ng websites. (Sorry di ko pa nasusubukan, pero naririnig ko lang noon.)

Kung si laptop naman po ang Host, pwede po sya sa default ip home page, pero gaya nga po ng sabi ng ibang commentator...

Not sure if you can pull this of, pero eto na din.

Ang pinaka-tama pero kumplikadong setup is through DNS filtering at the gateway-level coupled with DNS query packets redirection. Let me explain.

Mga requirements:

• meron kang wired at wireless clients. Lahat (o most of them) sila gusto mo ma-restrict ang access only sa approved sites.
• kahit i-modify nila ang DNS (say, visitor sa bahay mo), dapat applied pa din ang rule mo above. Otherwise, they can simply change their DNS and circumvent your settings.

One of the many ways to implement:
- meron kang Linux- o BSD-based na router. If you are not comfortable sa commandline, use pfsense o pi-hole. Kung ok ka sa CLI, you would need knowledge in iptables (or pf in BSD world), unbound (your internal caching, recursive DNS server).

Optionally but highly recommended yung packet redirection so kahit ilagay nila google's DNS, yung query sa selected server mo pa din dadaan.
