Parang mas better na gamiting ang VPS kaysa sa webhost. Kasi kapag dumami ang user ng webhost at naglag ang processor ng webhost kung san ka connected eh di down din website mo. Tama ba po ako?

I think its more like pagpipilian are: shared hosting, dedicated, VPS, and Cloud.
In simple terms:
shared ( sharing ng resources wala kang control sa server basta dun kalang sa site mo eto pinakamura sa apat;
dedicated ( sayo nakadedicate yung server ikaw mag cocontrol nun);
VPS (shared padin pero may naka allocate na resource sayo at ikaw bahala sa site mo) ;
and lastly Cloud ( parang amazon, azure, nag rerent ka ng virtual resource like cpu, memory, storage etc and its flexible pag need mo resources e add kalang ng add )

So, kung titingnan is mas maganda ang Cloud Server. But in terms of price, napakamahal ng cloud server kumpara sa Virtual Private Server (VPS). Ang VPS naman kasi is pwede din iupgrade kung anong plan ang kaya mo, right?

ou wouldnt need Windows if you know what you are doing coz there are free stable OSes out there like those enumerated mo na linux-based distributions e.g centos, debian etc. Parang kumbaga sa programming languages e you would need .Net if pwede ka namang mag java, php, perl, ruby, python, go, etc all those are free if nag .net ka e malamang you would need windows so pap license mo pa yun if sa company ka. those meron nang mga .net core at .net standard na sinusubukang maging cross platform sa .net ecosystem.
eto simpleng comparison.
CentOS was rebuild from RedHat sources, and RH is commercial so basically stable sya used in companies. Fedora bleeding edge. Debian is stable is it has a social pact that it will be free forever! Ubuntu is based on Debian but using updated packages. For me I'm Debian user, so simple pag gusto mo mag install ng mysql kunwari e sasabihin mo lang sa debiang apt-get install mysql-server iiintsall na niya lahat. meron din syang gui version to simplify installation if you like. hope na explain ko mabuti
