- The defeat of Tobiroppo is announced to all Onigashima.

- Hawkins has linked his powers to Kid (if he is harmed / killed, Kid will be harmed / killed).

One Piece 1022 Spoiler Summary
Chapter 1,022: "The Stars' Entrance" (花形登場 (はながた とうじょう)).
In the cover, some members of Tontatta tribe and a frog play hide and seek in hydrangea bush.
Chapter starts with an update of Onigashima's war. The narration says that the difference in numbers between the two sides are narrowing. We can see too a map of Onigashima's castle with the position of where each Tobiroppo was defeated. Despite the map shows the position of the 5 defeated Tobiroppo, we only see 3 panels with Black Maria, Who's Who and Sasaki unconscious after their battles (Page One and Ulti haven't their own panels).
Then we see Onigashima island flying in the sky, the Flower Capital is near. We can see in a small map that the island has already traveled half the distance from the coast of Wanokuni to the Flower Capital. We also see Luffy screaming and full of energy, he's inflated after eating all the food that Caribou gave him. Onigashima is 15 minutes away from the Flower Capital.
Cut to Onigashima's 3rd floor, Raizou and Fukurokuju are fighting. Raizou uses his technique “Ninpo: Bunshin no Jutsu” (Ninja Art: Clone Technique) to create some clones. Fukurokuju uses his technique “Ninpo: Mimitabu *****ers” (Ninja Art: Earlobes *****ers - 耳たぶ クラツカー) with which he can control his earlobes (that have fire*****ers at the edge) at will like whips.
Despite the fact that Raizou attacks him with several clones, Fukurokuju is able to see through Raizou's technique and manages to hit the real Raizou.
Raizou: "Why you chose to serve Orochi!!?"
Fukurokuju: "I'm a ninja and it is ninja's duty to serve the Shougun of Wanokuni.
In contrast, the man you serve is merely a ghost.
You can't become a true ninja because you can't contain your personal feelings!!"
Raizou: "Our actions are sincere because we act with our personal feelings!!
We all died along with Oden-sama on that day.
What you see are merely ghosts who are here to carry out Oden-sama's will!!
What we do isn't "duty" since they are our feelings that drive us.
The night of Kaidou and Orochi is about to end, and the sun will shine upon Wanokuni as Momonosuke-sama becomes the Shougun!!"
As Raizou speaks, we see the other Red Scabbards. Kinemon, Kiku and Ashura are still lying on the ground (we can't see their faces) and the other are all running or fighting (including Denjirou).
Cut to another part of Onigashima's 3rd floor, Killer and Hawkins are fighting. Hawkins is using his scarecrow-like form, we can see some straw dolls in the ground. It seems Killer attacked Hawkins many times but there's no effect thanks to Hawkins' powers.
Killer: "How many lives you stored!!"
Hawkins: "Not many left... Fufufu."
Killer stabs Hawkins but Hawkins laughes.
Hawkins: "Yeah, I haven't many lives left...
But the question is “whose life” is it...!!"
Cut to Onigashima's 2nd floor, Law and Kid are fighting Big Mom. Suddenly, Kid kneels down with a stab wound appearing on his chest. Back to the 3rd floor.
Hawkins: "If you kill me, your captain will die too...
By your own hands!!"
Cut to the “Live Floor”. King and Queen (this one in hybrid form) are annihilating the entire floor together. They are attacking all Gifters that betrayed them. The area is on fire, King is grabbing the head of a 4-armed Gifter while his hand burns. Marco has reached his limit so he can't stop them anymore. Sanji tried to fight both of them too, but he was thrown away.
Sanji shouts at Chopper and Miyagi to take Zoro and run if the drug doesn't work. Miyagi says the drug may take some time to activate since Zoro was in critical condition. Sanji enters the fight again and kicks Queen's face. King goes for Zoro.
Perospero is still in the room, but he's moved a bit out of the action zone. He has drawn his candy bow and is aiming at Sanji, his intention is to shoot Sanji to avenge for the wedding. Perospero has Sanji within range, but just before shooting his arrows, Nekomamushi comes at full speed and slaps Persopero in the face. The blow makes Perospero fly off the “Live Floor” (he hits some rocks near a bridge).
Chopper, Miyagi and Tristan are running along with Zoro (a pair of samurai carry him). However, King appears before them cutting off their path. King "conjures" a fireball in his hand and attacks Chopper and the other with a new attack called “Andon” (Emperor Flame - 炎皇 (アンドン)). Marco appears at high speed and blocks King's attack with his “Fushi Azami” (Immortal Azami Flower - 不死薊), the same attack with which he blocked Kizaru's “Yasakani no Magatama” in Marineford (now that attack has a name).
Marco: "I heard that long time ago,
a race of being that can create fire lived on top of the "red wall" (赤い壁).
King the Fire* could it be that...?"
*Marco doesn't use King's normal nickname (“King the Wildfire” - 火災のキング) becouse he changes the term “kasai” (火災) for the term “kaen” (火炎) which means “fire”.
King: "..."
But then Queen enters the scene too and says he has already tired and that they are going to kill Marco. Queen prepares his laser beam while King "conjures" a fireball in his hand. They are both about to attack Marco.
Marco: "Okay, okay. I give up...
I've fought enough. My part ends here.
It's time for the “stars” to enter the stage!!
As Marco says that, we see Zoro's bandage being torn apart. Chopper is shocked (another "Enel face" lol)
Zoro: "Santouryuu...!!"
Sanji: "Diable...!!"
Zoro: "Rengoku Oni Giri!!!"
Sanji: "Mouton Shot!!!"
In a BADASS final double spread, Sanji and Zoro attack King and Queen together.
Zoro: "Hey swirly, if we manage to win this battle...!!"

- King and Queen are fine after Zoro/Sanji's attack.
- Marco remembers what Shirohige told him ("It seems there is a "land of gods" on the Red Line").
- The fight between Zoro/Sanji and King/Queen continues.
- Sanji tells Zoro that his body feels "strange" after using the Raid Suit for the 2nd time.
- Queen taunts Sanji for being a Germa cyborg.
- Queen tells Sanji if those fire legs are a machine, Sanji tells him that he is 100% human.
- Queen wonders if a normal human can create fire and tells him if he is part of X race (korean leaker doesn't give the name).
- After this, we see King's face implying that Queen speaks of King's race.
- However, Sanji's Diable Jambe is nothing compared to the powers of King's race.

One Piece 1023 Full Summary
Chapter 1,023: "As alike as two peas in a pod".
In the cover, Vivi is sitting atop a tree branch as some birds perch on her arms. Carue is angry downstairs (probably he's jealous of the birds).
Chapter starts where the previous one ended. Zoro and Sanji are standing in front of King and Queen, who are lying on the ground covered in a cloud of dust (both of them are conscious). Chopper is surprised to see the effect of the Mink's medicine, the subordinates of the Beast Pirates are also surprised to see Queen and King fall.
One of the Beast Pirates' subordinates points his gun at Zoro, but just before shooting him, Kawamatsu defeats him. Hyougorou tells everyone not to interfere with Sanji and Zoro's fight and to try to make no one from the other side do it.
Marco looks at King and Queen as they get up, and remembers a few words that Shirohige said to him.
Shirohige: "Long time ago, before the time of Mary Geoise,
there was a "country of god" above the Red Line."
While Marco was absorbed in his thoughts, some of the Beast Pirates' subordinates start shooting at him. However Izou arrives just in time and lunges towards Marco to prevent the bullets hit him. Izou shoots at Beast Pirates' subordinates as he leaves the place with Marco in his arms, telling him off.
Queen and King return to battle, then Queen raps.
Queen: "YO!!
Your attacks didn't affect me at all...
“Drought”, “Plague”, “Wildfire”!!
We are the 3 Calamities who protect Kaidou!!!"
Then Queen fires some laser beam at Sanji and Zoro, but they dodge them. Zoro realizes that something is wrong with Sanji.
Sanji: "After wearing the Raid Suit 2 times I feel my body is..."
Zoro: "Don't drag me down with you."
Sanji: "I'm not saying that!! It's just I feel something "weird"."
Zoro: "With your eyebrows?"
Sanji: "With my body!!"
As they speak, King lunges at Sanji with his sword, but Zoro stops him with his swords. Queen takes the opportunity and tries to attack Zoro with a new technique called “Bridal Grapper” (Bridal Heat Fist - ブライダル 熱拳) with which he turns the claw of his ponytail into a flaming claw. However Sanji steps in and blocks Queen's claw with a flaming kick. Queen laughs.
Queen: "You must be one of Germa's “cyborgs”!!
All of Judge children are “cyborgs”...
That legs are mechanical and can burn if you want it, right!?"
Sanji: "I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I'm 100% human!!!"
Queen: "Ehhh!?
Humans can create fire now!?
It's not like you're from “Lunaria race” or something!!!"
After saying that name we cut to King's face, he's listening to the conversation in silence. Sanji begins to spin flaming kicks at Queen as he defends himself with his arm with Busoshoku Haki and his claws. Queen ends by saying that it doesn't matter what Sanji is, since he is facing a cyborg that even Vegapunk cannot create.
Zoro and King keep fighting. Suddenly, the edge of King's sword changes shape into something like a comb and King takes the 2 Zoro's swords from his hands. Then King pulls on his sword and snatches the 2 swords from Zoro, throwing them aside. Then King throws a powerful punch at Zoro's face. It seems that the blow has hit Zoro's face but he has managed to move his head in time and he has stopped the blow with the sword that he holds in his mouth.
Zoro: "Your battle style is curious...!!"
King: "There's no need for fixed form and style in real battle."
Zoro: "You're right.
Now I think about it, you never said you are a swordman..."
Zoro picks up the 2 swords that he had lost and returns to the fight.
Zoro: "If it's necessary I may need to win this battle biting your neck and tearing your windpipe...
Becouse I can't lose no matter what!!!"
Hyougorou and Kawamatsu are watching Zoro and King battle. Kawamatsu says that Zoro is a formidable swordsman, Hyougorou says that he reminds him a lot of Ringo's lord, Shimotsuki Ushimaru, in his younger days. Even his fighting style is similar. They also say that Zoro returning Shusui, the sword of the legendary samurai Shimotsuki Ryuma, to Wanokuni must be fate. As King and Zoro continue fighting, we see an image of Ryuma where we see that his left eye was also damaged like Zoro's eye (he had a scar in his face too).
Cut to the 2nd floor of Onigashima castle. Jack and Inuarashi keep fighting, Jack is using his hybrid form. His legs are still mammoth legs but his torso and arms have human form (in fact he is using his swords). His head is a mix of his mammoth and human form, he maintains his large trunk and large fangs but has a smaller head and does not have mammoth ears.
Jack attacks Inuarashi with his trunk but, as happened in Zou, Inuarashi grabs it and throws him out of the room. They both fall into the courtyard where Ashura is unconscious. Inuarashi remembers the torture that Jack put him through on Zou and says that now all will gonna be different. Thanks to the huge hole in the ceiling opened by Kaidou, Inuarashi can transform into his Sulong form.
Cut to the outside of Onigashima castle, just after Nekomamushi's attack to Perospero. Before Carrot and Wanda's gaze, Nekomamushi approaches Perospero saying that he is going to avenge Pedro's death. Once he steps out of the shadows, the moonlight causes Nekomamushi to transform into his Sulong form before Perospero's frightened gaze.
On the 2nd floor of Onigashima castle, Raizo and Fukurokuju are still fighting. Fukurokuju tells Raizou that Wanokuni cannot trust a child as shogun, Raizou replies that he doesn't underestimate youth since "people can grow".
Cut to Wanokuni coast. Heart Pirates are upset, they have drawn their weapons and are pointing at “something” that reminds them a lot to Kaidou. In an amazing double page we see a giant dragon planted in front of Luffy. It's Momonosuke. Luffy remembers his first meeting with Momonosuke (when Momonosuke told him that he was not a prey).
Luffy: "Momo."
Momonosuke: "Indeed!!"
Momonosuke is now 28 years old, Shinobu has made him grow 20 years with her powers. Shinobu cries aloud as she remembers the moment when she raised Momonosuke. We only see a picture with Shinobu grabbing Momonosuke's arm, we can't see Momonosuke entire body. However, we can see that ãdül† Momonosuke is taller than Shinobu (and she has more or less the same size as Luffy) becouse Shinobu's head in that picture reaches Momonosuke's elbow.
Shinobu: "Momonosuke-sama!!
He looks exactly like...!! "
Luffy and Momonosuke set off.
Luffy: "Come on Momo!!
Let's take back Wanokuni!!! "
Momonosuke: "Yes!!!"

Jack attacks Inuarashi with his trunk but, as happened in Zou, Inuarashi grabs it and throws him out of the room. They both fall into the courtyard where Ashura is unconscious. Inuarashi remembers the torture that Jack put him through on Zou and says that now all will gonna be different. Thanks to the huge hole in the ceiling opened by Kaidou, Inuarashi can transform into his Sulong form.
Cut to the outside of Onigashima castle, just after Nekomamushi's attack to Perospero. Before Carrot and Wanda's gaze, Nekomamushi approaches Perospero saying that he is going to avenge Pedro's death. Once he steps out of the shadows, the moonlight causes Nekomamushi to transform into his Sulong form before Perospero's frightened gaze.
On the 2nd floor of Onigashima castle, Raizo and Fukurokuju are still fighting. Fukurokuju tells Raizou that Wanokuni cannot trust a child as shogun, Raizou replies that he doesn't underestimate youth since "people can grow".
Cut to Wanokuni coast. Heart Pirates are upset, they have drawn their weapons and are pointing at “something” that reminds them a lot to Kaidou. In an amazing double page we see a giant dragon planted in front of Luffy. It's Momonosuke. Luffy remembers his first meeting with Momonosuke (when Momonosuke told him that he was not a prey).
Luffy: "Momo."
Momonosuke: "Indeed!!"
Momonosuke is now 28 years old, Shinobu has made him grow 20 years with her powers. Shinobu cries aloud as she remembers the moment when she raised Momonosuke. We only see a picture with Shinobu grabbing Momonosuke's arm, we can't see Momonosuke entire body. However, we can see that ãdül† Momonosuke is taller than Shinobu (and she has more or less the same size as Luffy) becouse Shinobu's head in that picture reaches Momonosuke's elbow.
Shinobu: "Momonosuke-sama!!
He looks exactly like...!! "
Luffy and Momonosuke set off.
Luffy: "Come on Momo!!
Let's take back Wanokuni!!! "
Momonosuke: "Yes!!!"
