tama un sir. pag na frp locked sya, i-reflashed mu lang ulit ung stock marsmallow firmware using odin. at pag nag boot loop sya na ayaw pumasok sa system ui, mag wipe data/factory reset via recovery menu. ganyan ung nangyari kc dun sa pinsan ko, pina flashed din nya sa aken ung j7 prime nya tapos accidentally nyang na turn off ung OEM unlock sa developer option then na lowbat phone nya pag bukas ng phone nya ayaw na mag boot sa system dahil nka frp locked na sya hahahaha

Sadly, OS updates are usually being released without prior notice and exact date ata. It will automatically prompt on your unit once the said version is already available na I guess we'll have to wait for the next 10 years then hahaha. kidding! kapit lang. I'm hoping na ma release yung update before 2018.

Ayun nga, ayon sa nabanggit, magflash nalang ulit ng Stock marshmallow rom para maayos ang frp locked.
Kaya importante na dapat may nakahanda kang 6.0.1 Marshmallow na stock ROM.

Go to "Mobile Networks" then Access Point Names (APN), select the APN you are currently using. And from there, on the 'Bearer' check the LTE. Save. Then open http Injector. From the left sliding menu select the 'Radio Network'. Scroll down and choose the 'LTE only'. I would recommend this if yung sim na ila lock mo sa 4g is pang data mo lang, dapat may separate sim ka for text and calls, hindi ka ata makakatawag pag naka LTE only eh.

Patapos na year 2017..still wala pa rin update j7 prime to nougat..nauna pa j7 mag update..i guest we still have to wait for 10 more years to give this update to j7 prime

kung yung official nougat samsung firmware for sm-g610f ang gagamitin para i-flash sa sm-g610y failed tlga ang resulta. Kung ung "modded" rom/firmware ng sm-g610f ang ipa-flash to sm-g610y working sya. Gamit ko sya ngayon at pag chineck mo sa about phone, sm-g610f na ang makikita mong model number nya.

Update (2): Still, Google hasn't yet released the Nougat update for SM-G610Y users. In relation po sa previous post ko, SM-G610M users have been receiving Nougat update na (Currently, focus ng Google sa African region). As I have said, chances of SM-G610Y is low because meron pang M variants which has far more users than M variants. If Google still release Nougat by variants, 2-3 months pa bago macycle ulit ang firmware updates and probably mga March na dadating ang update. Fortunately, Samsung Philippines stated that Google is working the update for SM-G610Y users, though di lang nila alam kung kailan kasi updates are filtered by Samsung without prior notice.

And to people who are asking if maupdate ba sa Oreo ang J7 Prime, then yes. J7 Prime will receive Oreo. Samsung released a full list of Samsung devices who will receive Oreo and J7 Prime was listed along the list. But expect the update to be received later than Q4.
