Salamat.. saan ko pwede iconfirm ang boot format kung pareho?yes magagamit mo pa old parts mo even yung ram
pag dating sa OS aslong as same boot format gamit nila
KEKWpde mo pa rin ma gamit GPU RAM at M.2 drive mo, plug and play lang yan. wala kna need e confirm. wala na yang BOOT format na yan, panahon pa yan ng windows 98 ang FAT32, since windows XP lahat ng boot format NTFS walang ibang BOOT format.
Chineck ko ung drive ko. MBR nakalagay sa partition style.KEKW
NTFS is disk format not boot format
even till today gumagamit pa lahat ng system ng MBR boot format
gusto mo example lahat ng OS na ininstall mo gamit Ventoy is naka GPT
pero yung ventoy mismo is mg boboot in MBR
meaning mg eerror ventoy pag strict GPT lang yung mobo (uncommon pero meron nito kaya mas preferred rufus)
FYI MBR is BIOS and GPT is UEFI
lahat ng mobo even yung mga xhero mobos na tig 11k eh pede mag boot in MBR mode
pero hindi auto yan need manual set
infact my mga mobo tulad ng Maxsun and Asus TUF na naka default sa MBR
MBR is my SLIC sector na wala yung GPT
meron legacy mode lahat ng mobo for a reason
come on man 6th gen yun cpu nya
even 7th gen my mga mobo pa na MBR only tulad ng BIOSTAR
yung Rampage III nga ng asus na 6th gen is naka MBR default
until i update mo yung Bios version nya
if yung OS nya is naka MBR and GPT yung bago nyang mobo
since walang secure boot MBR
and if GPT yung OS nya and naka MBR mode yung mobo babatohan sya ng error
if MSI nga mobo mo specially mid range mobos nila
eh wala error ibabato diretso no os found na lang agad sya
basic mobo info to alam mo dapat to
same mobo lang sila lahat ng bagong mobo pede mag palit from MBR to GPT and vice versaChineck ko ung drive ko.
Ok boss i will keep that in mind pag hindi nag post. At least may idea ako.same mobo lang sila lahat ng bagong mobo pede mag palit from MBR to GPT and vice versa
pede sya baguhin sa bios manual nga lang to hindi to automatic
ito yung Legacy and UEFI mode ng mobo
legacy yung MBR UEFI yung GPT
if yung mobo na ipapalit mo is di maganda yung support ng legacy to uefi
see basic info para smooth ang transition
part for part aslong as meron syang saksakan for the partOk boss i will keep that in mind pag hindi nag post. At least may idea ako.
good explaination, at tama ka dun, except sa MBR and GPT are not BOOT format or any kind of Format,KEKW

boot format is just laymans terms of partition schemegood explaination, at tama ka dun, except sa MBR and GPT are not BOOT format or any kind of Format,
tatlo lang BOOT/DISK Format, thats FAT32,NTFS,ex-FAT.
MBR and GPT are kinds of partition.
so NO, di mo need e confirm kung anong BOOT format yan ksi iisa lang format ginagamit ng windows ngayon thats NTFS, partition on the other hand. is a different story whether its MBR or GPT.
MBR might mean Master Boot Record but it doesnt have anything to do with Boot Format.
GPT literally means GUID Partition Table, because its a partition.

Yes, you are rightboot format is just laymans terms of partition scheme
look at the right side bios or uefi my target system sya for a reason
hence why "Preferred" yung rufus
my mga mobo na di maganda support for MBR at all
required nila na mg switch from GPT(UEFI) to MBR/Legacy (sometimes under sya ng CSM)
para mag boot yung transfered OS
case and point H510 Mobos ng MSI
asus is isa sa mga makers na ganto yung scheme nila specially in older gen
as for file system is well duh file system
file system ntfs, fat32, EXfat is tinatawag na file system for a reason
every type has a limit newer = larger limit
while connected sya sa formating hindi ito yung standard ng windows for booting
nasa name sake na sya ng format
fat32: File Allocation Table 32bit = 4giga byte limit
EXfat: Extensible File Allocation Table = 16Exa (or exi di ko ma alala) byte limit
NTFS: New Technology File System = 8peta byte limit
file allocation type lang sila
boot format (partition scheme) is yung mobo yung ng checheck sa post
meaning ito yung first check ng mobo before file system
funfact
pede ka mag boot on windows from a exfat file format
wala naman mali satinYes, you are right
