good explaination, at tama ka dun, except sa MBR and GPT are not BOOT format or any kind of Format,
tatlo lang BOOT/DISK Format, thats FAT32,NTFS,ex-FAT.
MBR and GPT are kinds of partition.
so NO, di mo need e confirm kung anong BOOT format yan ksi iisa lang format ginagamit ng windows ngayon thats NTFS, partition on the other hand. is a different story whether its MBR or GPT.
MBR might mean Master Boot Record but it doesnt have anything to do with Boot Format.
GPT literally means GUID Partition Table, because its a partition.

boot format is just laymans terms of partition scheme
kaya nga sinabi ko sa taas na mas preferred yung rufus
bakit kase meron syang mux mode sa MBR nya
look at the right side bios or uefi my target system sya for a reason
muxed kase yung MBR ng rufus meaning pede ka mamili kung anong format ng MBR kunin mo
walang option na ganto sa retail CD OS ng windows either GPT or MBR sya
(isa sa reason kaya na lolock yung os ng mga company)
hence why "Preferred" yung rufus
my mga mobo na di maganda support for MBR at all
required nila na mg switch from GPT(UEFI) to MBR/Legacy (sometimes under sya ng CSM)
para mag boot yung transfered OS
case and point H510 Mobos ng MSI
asus is isa sa mga makers na ganto yung scheme nila specially in older gen
as for file system is well duh file system
file system ntfs, fat32, EXfat is tinatawag na file system for a reason
ito yung method na ginagamit nila para sa naming and byte management ng files strictly files
every type has a limit newer = larger limit
while connected sya sa formating hindi ito yung standard ng windows for booting
nasa name sake na sya ng format
fat32: File Allocation Table 32bit = 4giga byte limit
EXfat: Extensible File Allocation Table = 16Exa (or exi di ko ma alala) byte limit
NTFS: New Technology File System = 8peta byte limit
file allocation type lang sila
boot format (partition scheme) is yung mobo yung ng checheck sa post
meaning ito yung first check ng mobo before file system
funfact
pede ka mag boot on windows from a exfat file format
