Music streaming platform Spotify has released a new in-app feature called Karaoke mode, enabling users to sing along with the lyrics and get a score at the end of the song, just like the traditional karaoke.
The karaoke mode would be accessible to all Spotify users without requiring a ρrémíùm subscription. To get the feature, just update your Spotify app via Google Play (for Android devices) or the Apple App Store (for iOS devices). Check out how to access and use this new feature below.
Note that Spotify is rolling out this feature gradually to the users. If you've updated your app to the latest and the Karaoke mode is still not present, just wait a couple of hours or a few days for it to come out.

How to access Karaoke mode on Spotify
- Begin by selecting your desired music, then scroll down to locate the lyrics.
- After that, a button labeled "Sing" will appear in the upper right corner.
- Simply click the button to begin singing your heart out.
How to use the Spotify Karaoke mode
- Once you press the "Sing" button, a distinct style of line-by-line lyrics screen will appear — much like a karaoke machine.
- After singing along with your favorite song, Spotify will provide you with a scorecard and rate your singing.
