I3 vs i5?

Good day po mga kaPHC!

Ask ko lang po sana, kc may inapplyan akong work na Work from Home then ang required processor nila sa desktop or laptop ay atleast i3 7th gen tapos yung desktop po namin is i5 4th gen while yung laptop is i5 5th gen. Hindi ako pinagproceed sa interview kc daw hndi pasok sa requirements yung mga devices ko baka daw di gumana mga softwares nila. May ganun po ba na possibility? Tsaka alin po ba yung mas latest or mas better performance/quality sa dalawa i3 7th gen or i5 4th/5th gen? Thank you po sa makakatulong.

as a WFH for many years, ang advise ko lng is kung gusto mo tlaga e career ang online job then invest a good PC, ang requirements ng mga clients is not just about kung kaya ng software nila. it needs to be efficient lalo na kung per hour ang bayad.

ex: sa isang mid-end PC, ang isang project is magagawa mo as fast as 2-3hours.
compare sa isang patatas na PC na aabot ng 5-6hrs sa sobrang bagal.

you are wasting time and they are not willing to pay you 5-6hrs worth of money if it can be done within 2-3hrs.

to answer your concern. i3 7th is a bit slower but more efficient than i5 5th. in terms of performance.

mas mataas yung gen pre mas bago baka meron silang application na na gumagana lng 7th gen pataas lng pwede.
