THINGS NEEDED:
  • Drivers for your specific AMD GPU
  • any Philip or Flat Screw size depends on your GPU Screws
  • Thermal Paste (any will do but i recommend researching for GPU thermal pastes)
-Thermal Pads/Tape
-Hair Dryer
-Dry Cloth or dry tissue (do not use WIPES)

STEPS
1. Turn off computer
2. Remove all cables and wires from you System Unit / Computer
3. Open up your Computer case
4. Remove GPU / Video Card
5. Remove the 4 small screws at the back of your GPU (While removing do not spress down on FANS it might break them)
6. Gently remove the front panel/ fans of the GPU (it will be sticky because of the thermal paste but still becareful not to break the fans or wires while removing)
7. Locate the GPU chip at the middle (it should be the one with thermal paste)
8. Remove remaining thermal paste
9. Remove the thermal tapes located on the VRAMS (it should look like squares with tapes on them just remove the tapes)
10. Get your Hair Dryer and set it to HIGH then blow the GPU CHIP in the MIDDLE for about 5 minutes
11. Let it cool down to normal temperature (do not put it inside the fridge warning just let it sit and wait)
12. Get your thermal tapes and put it on the VRAMS that had them (we must replace the old ones to get better cooling)
13.Get your thermal paste and put a small amount at the middle (just enough to make sure the whole gpu chip gets it)
14. Get your gpu fans and clean it with dry cloth and remove dusts from it (becareful not to damage them0
15. Put the fans gently on the GPU CARD (check if all screw holes are inside and press down gently (again do not press on the fans itself)
16. Put all screws back tighten it until it cant be tighten anymore ( we must make sure no air gets inside but becareful not to over do it )
17. Insert back in your computer
18. Install Driver for your r9 200 series wait for installation (if it goes to black screen just wait and let it open up again if doesn't your GPU must be faulty already buy a new one or use your warranty)
19. test EVERYTHING IN BENCHMARK IF EVERYTHING IS OK (If not thats a different tutorial)
