Hiniling ng mahigit sa 80 Pinoy sa Sudan na tulungan sila ng pamahalaan na makauwi sa Pilipinas o ma-relocate sa ibang bansa dahil sa pangamba sa kanilang buhay bunsod ng tumitinding kaguluhan dito.

Ayon kay Department of Foreign Affaits (DFA) Undersecretary for Migrant Affairts Eduardo Jose de Vega, nasa 500 ang mga Pinoy sa Sudan at mahigit 80 rito ang gusto nang makauwi sa Pilipinas o mailipat sa ibang lugar sa lalong madaling panahon.

Ito’y dahil natatakot ang mga ito na madamay sa bakbakan ng Sudanese army at paramilitary group na Rapid Support Forces (RSF) sa Khartoum, Sudan bunsod ng pag-aagawan sa kapangyarihan. Sa ulat, isang overseas Filipino worker (OFW) ang nadaplisan ng ligaw na bala dahil sa bakbakan.

this is just an aftermath of a successful coup d'etat, a president for thirty years straight was finally overthrown just like our very own marcos story, the only difference is that we were able to transition back to democracy, sudan failed to transition to democracy hence the kaguluhan
