It's not about the vulnerability. It's about the inside, please read again also this is based from researched and leaked documents. If we include cloud storage like Pixel drain, Mega.nz, Icedrive when it comes to security and privacy than Terabox then It's as far as the sun to the earth.

again, ang masasabi ko lang is nasa taong gumagamit yan. hindi mo ilalagay ang mga sensitive data sa isang cloud storage kung alam mo pano i secure ang sarili mo online. once online ka, vulnerable ka sa lahat regardless kung anong cloud storage man yan, app, social media, and even govt. sites. baka hindi ka aware brader na even ang google binebenta ang data info mo sa ibang company. in short, there is no such thing as "privacy" in the internet.

i agree with you. hindi lang naman nangyayari iyan sa terabox kung hindi sa mga mas kilala pang cloud storage tulad ng namention mo possible na mag leak iyan.

Again sa hassle at "crappy design" ng napaka fishy ng gawain ng terabox bakit ba fishy? kasi they need you to download their app first before you can download a file that was hosted there.

depende siguro kung anong files ang nilalagay ng isang indibidwal.

for ex: kung ako gagawa ng account sa Tera, pag a-uploadan ko lang ng mga movies yan, or other app installer. so i guess it is safe for me.

pero kung personal files, i guess it is good to be safe than sorry. so it's a no-no para sakin pagdating sa mga personal files and docs.

Haha madami takot sa China (dulot ng west propaganda) pero ang alam ko Huawei devices pa daw gamit ng Hamas kaya hindi nadetect ang plano nilang manggyera. Mas trusted ko pa ang Chinese equipment and routers. Mga open telnet na Huawei modem ko never ko nadetect na may backdoor kahit inspect ko yung traffic at logs samantala yung mga western na router modem may trust issues ako dyan kasi madaming lumantad na backdoors, yan din ang dahilan kaya gumawa ng open source projects at nabuo si lede/dd/openwrt.

Pero sa totoo lang kung cloud data, pag store ng mga movies or shows pwede na sya, sa mga western kasi na cloud may chance na ma DMCA at deleted pa account kahit yung ibang files mo like photos deleted na din. Tapos yung family pics mo gagamitin at gagamitin din nila yan sa AI training mapa west or east pa yan pero mas pasaway ata ang mga western na cloud kasi sila ang greedy sa data mining compared sa chinese websites na wala masyadong tracking, ang pasaway lang sa china talaga yung internet connection nila na may firewall ayaw kasi nila mapropaganda ng foreigners mga citizens nila which is good (but bad for open internet).

Kung magstore ka naman ng sensitive information sa cloud gawa nalang ng owncloud server or bili ng cloud vps na naka ubuntu mas safe. Kasi lahat ng iuupload mo deretso sa AI training ng mga companies, creepy diba.

pero halos naman lahat ng routers na mabibili sa buong mundo ay made in china. Mapa western brand yung router "made in china" parin naman ang naka lagay sa ilalim niyan. Sobrang rare ng router na made in Japan or U.S.A. or any country. Baka meron din siguro yung mga 1990s siguro na pang dial up. Nakakita na rin ako ng modem na made in Japan (NEC ata yung gumawa) pero panahong 90s pa ginawa!

tama ka doon sa mga mas kilalang cloud storage tulad ng gdrive or mediafire, may DMCA enforcement mga iyan dahil based mga companies nila sa U.S. possible din na maging training nila mga files mo sa AI.

Hindi ako masyadong gumagamit ng cloud storage sa ngayon. Kasi ang dami ko naman mga lumang laptop HDD na naka tambak lang sa bahay kaya doon ko na lang nilalagay mga files ko.

assembly lines lang naman sa china ng hardware pero sa firmware sarili padin ng mismong manufacturer ang ilalagay. ang mas nakakatawa pa nga yung mga western pa na internet device or routers ang nahahäçk kasi OPEN backdoor sya. nakatago yung official na root shell, minsan dyan pa nga tayo naglalagay ng openwrt haha

yun nga ang problema, di na nakontento sa online tracking, pati personal files at drive kinakalkal na para mas angat AI nila. hindi na PC o personal computer. NPC na haha
