Hi there! Based on the information you provided, it is possible that your phone's display might have been damaged or has malfunctioned. However, since you mentioned that you can still take screenshots and receive notifications, it could be an issue with the phone's software or the connection between the display and the phone's hardware.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Soft Reset: Try restarting your phone by holding down the power button for 10-15 seconds until it restarts. This may help solve any software issues that may be causing the black screen.

2. Charge your phone: Make sure that your phone is completely charged, and try turning it on again.

3. Boot into Safe Mode: This will allow you to troubleshoot if any third-party apps are causing the issue. To access Safe Mode, press and hold the Power button until the Power Off option appears on the screen. Then, press and hold the Power Off button until the Safe Mode option appears. Select Safe Mode and wait for the phone to restart.

4. Factory Reset: If the issue persists, you may need to perform a factory reset. Please note that this process will erase all data and settings from your phone. To do this, go to Settings > System > Reset options > Erase all data (factory reset).

If none of the above steps work, it's best to bring your phone to a professional technician or the manufacturer's service center for further diagnosis and repair.

I'm sorry to hear that the troubleshooting steps did not work. It is possible that there is a more serious hardware issue causing the black screen. I recommend that you bring your phone to a professional technician or the manufacturer's service center for further diagnosis and repair. They may need to replace the display or other components to fix the issue.
