Nowadays, most people you find online have a very high opinion of themselves and of what they think and say online. Sad to say, but healthy discussions online are being followed by just a few. You will seldom find discussions ending up healthy and non-toxic. Most will end up in people calling other hate names and slurs. It would be good for broad minded people to enjoy healthy discussions from time to time.
This thread is made for open minded persons only.
You may post anything on this thread as long as you will be considerate, polite and value each others opinion.

Since 2016, I've deserted various social media platforms since I feel them to be harmful. Now, I'm afraid to share my thoughts online because others won't be able to grasp the context of my message, which leads to disinformation. So sad, yet so true. Marami ang nai-intimidate sa mga keyboard warriors, pero marami din naman ang mahaba ang pasensya and choose to be patient and not engage in toxic banter.

Forgive me, I would disagree if you will chose not to vote. I know you might think that to whomever you cast your vote won't make any difference but that doesn't mean you don't have to. We are civilized therefore we have to make decisions regardless how bad it is and be held liable for the consequences, unless we don't consider ourseleves to be part of the nation and to have a claim on our rights. I also thought that none of them has a clean intent so it's just a matter of chosing the lesser evil.

That's reasonable. I've also considered voting for whoever my parents choose. But they'll vote for Robredo, so I had to reconsider. Now I'm thinking I should simply vote for the less popular candidates since they may actually have good intentions, but because I don't know them well, I'll have to do more research.

This. It pains me to see people deciding on candidates kase ayaw nila sa kalaban. We are reduced to this state. Kawawa nmn ang pilipinas.

I've always advocated na kilatisin ang candidate based on his/her own merits. Not affiliation but actual track record ng kandidato.

Sadly marami ang hindi kayang mag distinguish between good or bad traits ngayon. Kung sino nalang ang sikat .

At tanungin ninyo lang sa inyong sarili kung kaya ba niya o hindi yung inyong nais mangyari sa bansa, at pagtitiwalaan ninyo kung sakali ng 6 na taong panunungkulan. Bumuto kayo kapag may napusuan kayo sa listahan ng kandidato. Kayo ang maghuhusga hindi ang iba. Kung hindi naman ay huwag. Ang ibig pong sabihin ay wala kayong napili. Parehas lang yan ng pamimili sa palengke, may oras na may nabili at may oras na wala dahil hindi pasok sa inyong pangangailangan. At sa ibang araw na lang umulit o makipagsapalaran.

Mahirap pangunahan talaga kung ano ang mangyayari pagkatapos umupo ng isang kandidato sa kahit anong posisyon. Para kang nagsugal - walang kasiguruhan. Ang tangi mo lang hiling ay sana di ka nagkamali at buong sambayanan. Bawat botante rin ay may kanya-kanyang pananaw sa kanyang pinili kahit pa matino o palpak ang maaring gawin. Di ba may Dilawan, DDS at ngayon na BBMs he he, atbp. Bahagi lang ng kultura.

Kaya nga huwag masyadong umasa. Sa pulitika, mabilis magbago ang ihip ng hangin dahil hindi laging nasusunod yung pirmis na pamantayan at malinaw na batas. Kumplikadong mundo kasi yan dahil sa kapangyarihan, pananatili ng imahen, yaman, atbp. na minsan ay nakakabuti o nakakasama sa iba't ibang sektor ng lipunan. Hindi mo mapapasaya ang lahat!

Yung posisyon bilang presidente ay di hamak na mahirap na trabaho kaya dapat ay meron siyang mataas na kalidad maging ang grupong kinabibilangan niya para suportahan ang kanyang kabinete atbp. Sa madaling salita, responsable siya sa pagpapatupad ng batas sa bawat sangay ng kanyang pinamumunuan. Yan yung dapat na katangian na hahanapin natin sa isang presidente. Dadaan siya sa maraming pagsubok na halu-halo ang resulta - mga tagumpay at pagkabigo. Kaya mahabang pasensya at pag-unawa ang kailangan sa kanya, sa kanyang gobyerno at sa atin. Kung di niya/nila kakayanin yung tungkulin ay dapat lang palitan kung kinakailangan.

Makuha lang niyang patinuin yung ekonomiya, edukasyon, pangangalaga ng kalusugan, kaligtasan at seguridad ng bansa maging sa kalamidad, at huliin ang tiwala ng mamamayan sa kanyang gobyerno ay "OK" na siguro para sa atin. Pero yan pa rin yung malaking tanong. Intayin na lang natin yung susunod na kabanata kapag may umupo ng bago.
