Sabbath means pamamahinga sa paggawa

Ang utos na sabbath( pagtigil sa paggawa o pamamahinga) ay iniutos lamang sa loob ng israel noong araw at walang gagawin na kahit ano ang mga israelita sa araw na iyan kundi ang magtigil sa paggawa ng kahit ano,kahit mag pa ningas ng apoy bawal kahit anong gawa bawal so meaning hindi yan pagsamba kundi pamamahinga ng laman o katawan sa mga paggawa
