No difference. Only, in some books and languages they used either term. Like for example in VB, often times, VB books and people in the forum used the term Function instead of Method. Same goes to C-like languages like C# used Method. But this two are just terminologies which means a chunk of codes that can be later call somewhere in your program to ease coding works. OOP implements the use of method/funciton.
