If the labor cost is 35% of the material cost, then how much percentage is it from the total cost which is a combination of both the labor and materials cost?
Show your solution.

Solution
Let's assume that the material cost is x.

Then, the labor cost would be 0.35x (35% of x).

So the total cost would be x + 0.35x = 1.35x.

To find the percentage of labor cost from the total cost, we can divide the labor cost (0.35x) by the total cost (1.35x) and multiply by 100 to convert it to a percentage:

(0.35x / 1.35x) x 100 = 25.93%

Therefore, the labor cost is approximately 25.93% of the total cost which is the combination of both the labor and materials cost.
