Hello! I'll try to assist you with your concern regarding permitting access to the printer for User 2 in a Windows Server 2016 environment. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

1. Check Printer Sharing Settings: Make sure that the printer is shared on the network and that User 2 has the necessary permissions to access it. You can do this by going to the printer properties on the server and enabling printer sharing.

2. User Permissions: Verify that User 2 has the appropriate permissions to access the printer. You can check this by going to the printer properties, selecting the Security tab, and ensuring that User 2 has permissions to print.

3. Network Discovery: Ensure that network discovery is enabled on the server and User 2's computer. This allows devices to be visible and accessible on the network. You can check and enable this in the Network and Sharing Center settings.

4. Firewall Settings: Check the firewall settings on both the server and User 2's computer to ensure that the necessary ports for printer sharing are open. You may need to create an exception for printer sharing in the firewall settings.

5. Driver Installation: Make sure that the printer drivers are installed on User 2's computer. If the printer is not being detected, it could be due to missing or incorrect drivers.

6. Network Troubleshooting: If the issue persists, you may need to perform further network troubleshooting, such as checking network connectivity, ensuring that both devices are on the same subnet, and testing with other devices to isolate the problem.

If you are unfamiliar with network server administration, you may need to seek assistance from a more experienced network administrator or IT professional to help you troubleshoot and resolve the issue. Feel free to provide more details or screenshots for further assistance. Good luck!
