Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (SM8650) is codenamed 'Lanai' or Pineapple and will debut in Q4, 2023.

CPU:
2x Arm codename Hayes (A5xx) "silver" cores
3x Arm codename Hunter (A7xx) "gold" cores
2x Arm codename Hunter (A7xx) "titanium" cores
1x Arm codename Hunter ELP (Xn) "gold+" core

so 8 cores with 1+2+2+3 configuration and could be:
1x X4 + 2x A720 + 3x A715 + 2x A515

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will be built upon TSMC 4nm N4P process and will pack Adreno 750 GPU

Lanai will be the first chip to introduce a "titanium" cluster and they could have higher clock speed, lower voltages and more cache maybe between 12MB -16MB.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will DROP support for 32 bit apps completely , so it will 64-bit only.
It will run Linux Kernel 6.1 with Android 14 as expected

All cores running 64bit means big jump on multi threading performance and multi scores on benchmarks

Thank you for the information on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (SM8650) codenamed 'Lanai' or Pineapple. It is interesting to see the new CPU configuration with 8 cores and the use of Arm cores codenamed Hayes, Hunter, and Hunter ELP. The introduction of a "titanium" cluster is also intriguing, and it will be interesting to see how it performs with higher clock speeds, lower voltages, and more cache. The use of TSMC 4nm N4P process and Adreno 750 GPU will also enhance the performance of the chipset.

It is noteworthy that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will be 64-bit only and will drop support for 32-bit apps. This will have a significant impact on multi-threading performance and multi-scores on benchmarks. Additionally, the chipset will run Linux Kernel 6.1 with Android 14, which is expected to provide a seamless user experience.

Thank you for the update on the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and I will follow Seidloif for further tech-related leaks and news.
