PS. For accurate speed test, pwede sa Google or Fast.com ^_^

Same speed yan sa Ookla, Fast, at MLAB (Google).

Di naman nagfafake ng speed yung PLDT.

At pala, mas accurate talaga yung kay Ookla. Yung MLAB kasi at Fast limited speed by peering congestions eh.

Yung Ookla makikita mo talaga if makukuha mo yung speed ng Plan mo. Compared to Fast and MLAB na 1 server lang if magtest ka.

Speedtesting only from 1 server doesn't show your real speed kasi obviously limited ka sa speed ng peers going from your ISP to that Server.

The accurate speedtest of your internet should be downloading stuff on the internet that has alot of data. You should use IDM in order to see how many Megabytes per second your download is actually. Go to a download calculator to convert MB to mb(megabits) to know how much mbps you actually have. I have 35MB/ps which is 300MBPS. It would take 28seconds just for me to download a 1GB file.

And about PLDT. No one really knows how long our speedboost would last, my plan should be on it's normal speed since it's already way past July 31 or the last date was even on July 1, I think it would last until December 31.

That answers your question. So does the "speedtest" servers in google shares the same issue as those servers that you use to download on the internet. If it's a free download server site. It's going to be slow. But if it's a ρrémíùm webserver. Then you're going to get the fullest on your internet speed. After all, It's up to you if you believe on speedtest.net or fast.com.
