Some vim keys po: press 'i' to enter insert mode, do your edits # to comment out a line.
Then press ESC to enter normal mode again, then ":wq" to save and exit. If you made some mistakes you press ":q!" to quickly exit without saving, ":q" to also exit a file.

Also in normal mode you can press "dd" if you want to delete a line rather than commenting it out; keys h,j,k,l also acts as navigation keys in normal mode.
