Luffy's Awakening Theory

One of the theories for Luffy's Awakening is that Luffy will transform if he awakens his devil fruit into Sun Wukong (also known as the Monkey King). Since his name is Monkey D. Luffy, maybe it would be. Luffy’s Gear 4th has a very visible gorilla team to it and also his attack King Kong. So, of course the most powerful would be a monkey god. His family name could be a reference too.
Also, as Oda is a huge fan of Dragon Ball, it could be possible.
