Assuming he fights and beats Mikey Garcia:

• Tie with Floyd Mayweather as the boxer with most past/present/future individual (rematches not counted) world champions defeated with 22. This is if we don't include Jorge Solis in the list since he's just an interim champion. So in a way, he unofficially breaks the record with 23 if we count Solis.
• If an interim title is on the line, it would be his first ever interim title. He also unofficially breaks his record as the oldest boxer to win a Welterweight title.
• Extension to Pacquiao's streak of fighting past/present/future world champions since the third Erik Morales fight late 2006. Again, counting Jorge Solis, that streak stretches way back to the second Erik Morales fight early 2006. Boxers rarely has that long streak of fighting purely boxers who became champions. I have yet to confirm but this seems to be the longest streak to date.

But that's nothing compared to fighting and beating Errol Spence where he gets the more official records. But definitely way better than fighting and beating Conor McGregor where he gets nothing and even break his vs. champions streak.

I hate to admit but i don't like the idea to fight Mikey Garcia, what a shame! . It will look like a ducking style by Floyd Mayweather before, i know Pacquiao will not stain his legacy but for god sake! he wasted his probably one of his last fight on his career (Because he is going to retire). Clearly this is a less risky fight for him that is why and guaranteed a money for him (Although the sponsor or promoter will not get big income to this, as i assume on this fight). I will not buy this fight, not a single centavo. I'm just waiting on the news and mocking him to stop and say "Retire now Pacquiao" . Oh by the way i will not vote him if he runs for President because lack of credentials and experience as a leader for me, he would like be former President Joseph Estrada who surrounded by bunch of wise men and manipulated him .

Spence is the most sensible opponent... I really hope he would be the finale opponent... Pac would become a 5-time Welterweight champion, finally a unified champion, the record of holding all versions of Welterweight titles even including the Regular and Recess versions of WBA, and a more solid claim as a Top 3-5 GOAT (not only P4P all time) should he beat Spence...

Problem with Spence, he's so silent after his DSG fight... The last time I heard, he immediately negotiated a fight against Ugas when he was gifted Pac's belt...

Ugas would've been a good choice due to the belt that can make Pacquiao a 5-time Welterweight champion... But yeah, there's less money with Ugas plus the sanctioning fee...

I think the only positive note here is that Pacquiao is fighting an actual boxer who had 4 divisional belts on paper instead of a MMA boxer who has 0-1 record in boxing...

Let's stick to the topic and avoid talking about PPol (Pinoy Politics)... Anyway, Arum doesn't seems to be interested funding the fight alone, if only someone offered to fund this one in the Middle East then it should've been the next fight because of the funds... I personally feel that Pacquiao isn't interested against Crawford this time, but if someone can fund his demands then he has no excuses but to fight...

Most boxing experts, dinidiscredit nga yung laban na yun... Non-issue sana sya kung exhibition match lang... Kaso pro fight...
