Japanese consider fruit as luxury items and they buy them as gift for their friends. The millionaire buyer and bidding winner Shinya Noda said that he bought the melon as celebration of his fruit and vegetable packaging company’s 20th anniversary.

Imagine having enough money to buy a house or a car, or even thousands of Jollibee meals and a trip to Paris but spending it all on two edible melons. Worth it!

Well base dun sa nakalagay na info eh it came in a auction. They bid for it which means it can be a million peso. Although its normal na hindi aabot ng milyon yan, a thousand yen maybe.

Kasi 4 season ang japan kaysa sa pinas 2 season lang tsaka bidding war ang abot sa melons diyan dahil luxury nga sakanila ang fruits kaya mayayaman ang mga farming corp sa japan kasi seasonal sila...
