I've been using Untangle for 3 years as my firewall and everything works fine until last month I encountered the problem, client PCs got disconnected to the internet all of a sudden but I can still ping the FW. If I restarted the FW everthing will be back to normal but again the same problem occurs. I already tried to reinstall the Untangle FW, use another linux based FW Endian but to no avail.
Please review my network diagram if I'm missing something about the cabling for possible loopback or something. Thanks in advance.
I was once using untangle way back version 8. Maganda na firewall stable but then to address some features I moved to pfSense. Na solve naba yong intermittent network mo? I'm maintaining also over 300+ machines in my network. bka mka tulong.

nefarios just yesterday the linux guy installed the latest version of Endian firewall and as of now stable na ang aming internet connections. I-monitor ko muna sya for a week before I declare that the issue has been solved.

I dunno but I'm still wondering why all of a sudden my fav untangle just not functioning properly even the Endian Firewall before. Thanks for the reply Sir, I will let let you know what will happen next.
By the way I decided to use static IP para sa mga workstations with DNS that my ISP is using not the IP of the EFW.

On using static IP your workstations would be not a good idea or maybe kung madami kasi mahirap mag maintain sa workstations ng IP. One of the reasons would be IP conflict pag pinalitan ng user.
Unless meron kang specific reason why static ginagamit mo.

About that, It is not possible na makapagpalit sila ng ip kasi naka standard user lang naman sila. When it comes to maintaining IP may inventory naman ako. When it works fine for a week or two maybe i would go back to dynamic setup.
