INGREDIENTS:
- 2 sheets ready-rolled puff pastry (thawed)
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- ¼ cup white sugar
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Heat oven to 180C°, fan forced
- Unroll the pastry on a lightly floured surface and brush the first sheet with egg.
- Place one plain puff pastry over the egg.
- Press the pastry sheets firmly together.
- Cut the pastry with the biscuit cutter and transfer to the baking dish and brush with egg and sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let it cool and serve.
