Women have standards on things (eventhough some denies this) specially on their "ideal men" that some are left single & won't marry because their standards are not meet ,Yes women have set high standards because other factors are involved, like how that woman was raised, and how that woman was treated by other men in her past. For example, if a woman had all of those things in a previous relationship, it would only be natural for her to look for those traits in the next person in a future relationship. Additionally, if the woman witnessed spousal or partner abuse between relatives as a child, or prominent women in her life held men to high standards, that woman is more apt to follow in those influential footsteps. On the flip side, if the woman was raised to have a doubtful, spiteful, abusive approach to relationships, or was involved in one, the standard to which they hold their life partner to in the future is likely to follow suit.

The reason behind overthinking shows in research conducted that women showed greater blood flow in the prefrontal cortex compared to men, may explain why women are more vulnerable to anxiety, depression, insomnia and eating disorders. Interestingly, it also explains why women tend to have greater strengths in intuition, collaboration, self-control and concern, as well as an overall greater capacity to be empathetic.
