I really hope na someday, i-legalize ang éùthanasia.

Specifically, para sa mga terminally ill and hindi na talaga magagamot. Rather than suffering and being in pain most of the time, why not just end the suffering. Personally, if I was terminally ill at hindi na talaga magtatagal, I wouldn't waste my family's money and time para alagaan ako. Sayang lang yung time at pagod if aware na rin naman na hanggang doon na lang at walang nang igaganda yung sitwasyon.

Pero syempre there should be limits. Dapat i-declare mismo ng patient. And dapat may physical records of some sort to prove it. Hindi rin dapat available sa wala namang terminal sickness, specifically, su*cidal people. Depression can be treated pa naman unlike advanced cancers or parkinson's. Saka if available sa depressed ang éùthanasia, I'm sure maraming young adults and magte-take nito.

But, we all know na very religious country ang bansa natin. And a lot of people believe that killing is wrong, whether sa iba or sa sarili. Pero if you consider the pain na kailangang danasin ng patient, and gusto niya na itong tapusin, kailangan pa ba talaga yung "say" ng religious groups if hindi naman sila yung nahihirapan? (Again, hypothetically, desisyon na nung patient magpa-éùthanize.)

Kayo ba, any thoughts on this.

éùthanasia is not an exemption for homicide/murder cases, it's still a crime

personally i agree on assisted death to be legal pero knowing that religion eats the whole country wag na umasa pa
