But it depends on the vaccine you get! If it's Sinovac, it seems that you are only 50% protected, if it's AstraZeneca it's 80%, if it's Moderna or Pfizer it's more than 90%! But keep in mind that most of these vaccines will give you protection only after the 2nd injection.

And scientists don't know yet for how long time this protection will last! Maybe one year or maybe more... we still have many things to learn!

It seems that very young children like yours, have their own antibodies that can defeat the virus which is good news!

In any case, you need to always wear a surgical mask (they are better than cloth masks). Cloth masks have been proven to be useless against the Covid-19 variants.

You will not become immune but your immune system would be able to fight the virus better. Kaya nga need padin ng restrictions kahit na may vaccine na dahil ang isang taong nabakunahan na pede padin nya makuha yung virus at ikalat sa iba. Malilift lang yung restrictions kapag sobrang dami na ng nabakunahan mapapagod at mamamatay nalang yung virus maghanap ng taong di pa nababakunahan.

May kakilala ako navaccinan na siya ng 2 doses at nagkacovid pa rin, pero mild symptoms lang naexperience niya.

Actually ang vaccine is for immunity talaga against sickness. Nagkakaroon ng record sa database ng immune system ang virus kaya madali iseek and destroy ito. Kapag di ka vaccinated mas matagal madedetect ng immune system mo ang virus kaya mas matagal ang paggaling. Ang problema sa covid-19 vaccine ay minadali siya gawin at irelease. Ang actual release date talaga ng mga vaccine ay 5 years ang pinakamabilis at 15 years ang pinakamatagal. Kaya may mga side effect pa ang vaccine na ito at ang iba ay namamatay.
