Hello! It's great that you've already done some troubleshooting steps to identify the issue with your LAN speed capping at 100mbps after upgrading your internet plan. Since your CAT6 cable was able to support higher speeds before the upgrade, there are a few more things you can check to try and resolve this issue:

1. Check LAN Port Speed: Make sure that the LAN port on your computer or device is set to auto-negotiate the speed with the router. Sometimes, manually setting the speed to 1Gbps can help resolve speed issues.

2. Update Network Drivers: Ensure that your network adapter drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause speed limitations.

3. Test with Different Device: Try connecting another device using the same CAT6 cable to see if the issue is specific to one device. This can help determine if the problem lies with the device or the network.

4. Restart Router and Devices: Sometimes a simple reboot of your router and devices can resolve connectivity issues. Power cycle them and see if the speed improves.

5. Check for Interference: Nearby electronic devices or appliances can cause interference with your LAN connection. Try moving your devices away from potential sources of interference.

6. Check Cable Quality: Even though you have a CAT6 cable, it's possible that there could be a fault in the cable itself. Try using a different CAT6 cable to see if the issue persists.

7. Contact Your ISP: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's best to reach out to your ISP's technical support team. They may need to check the settings on their end or provide further assistance.

By systematically going through these steps, you should be able to pinpoint the cause of the speed cap on your LAN connection and work towards resolving it. Let me know if you need further assistance or if you have any other questions!
