Secure Digital, officially abbreviated as SD, is a proprietary non-volatile flash memory card format developed by the SD Association (SDA) for use in portable devices.
The standard was introduced in August 1999 by joint efforts between SanDisk, Panasonic (Matsushita) and Toshiba as an improvement over MultiMediaCards (MMCs), and has become the industry standard. The three companies formed SD-3C, LLC, a company that licenses and enforces intellectual property rights associated with SD memory cards and SD host and ancillary products.The companies also formed the SD Association (SDA), a non-profit organization, in January 2000 to promote and create SD Card standards. SDA today has about 1,000 member companies. The SDA uses several trademarked logos owned and licensed by SD-3C to enforce compliance with its specifications and assure users of compatibility.

    Guys pahelp naman. Baka kaya pa to maayos. 2 years nang nasa phone tong micro sd card ko tapos bihira ko lang gamitin. Biglang nag pop nalang na dapat iformat. After ko iformat ganun pa din, hindi nawawala ung mga files. Sayang kase kung bibili ng bago baka kaya ma masalba. Orig 200 gb sandisk yan.

    Help Phone only reads 16gb data on 128gb sd card.

    Guys bumili ako Samsung Evo 128gb legit(2,333php). Then nilagyan ko sya 22gb of files via card reader to pc. Then nung nilagay ko na sa phone ko(Samsung J7 Core) ang lumabas lang na naconsume sa sd is 16gb lang, yung another 6gb na data na nilagay is nawala. Sinubukan ko nadin few times laging...

    hellow po mga boss may alam ba kay pano maayos tong micro sd card ko na 8gb? kasi pag e format ko sa computer naka write protected tapos ni edit ko sa regedit nun pero ayaw parin ng sd card na mag format.... may mga paraan po ba kayo paano ma solve to mga boss?
