G·TM Bypass bandwidth throttling (fup)

Yep nakatay na po. I can confirm coz I've been using this for 2 years. Nakaka connect parin naman at nakakadownload pero counted na po yung data towards our "normal" 800mb daily data limit unlike before na kahit 20gb per day. If mag checheck ka ng consumption sa *143# di naman lalabas ung MB na nagamit using this so it's kinda confusing at first at kala ko mali lang settings ko pero metered na talaga. Ang kinasama pa dito ang penalty kapag na reach mo ung limit using this trick ay hindi na "throttling down" but absolutely zero internet except facebook and the globe website. How do I know? Nagkagastos ako kaka supersurf50 sa iba't ibang globe na sims ko at wala na talaga. RIP 203.177.42.214.

Edit: oh I just wanna add, kapag na reach mo ung 800mb using this even if you are registered to supersurf, kakainin ung normal load mo for the succeeding data transfers as in P15/5mins (at least from my experience). I called the Customer Service hotline about this and they said it was a "system activity" (yeah right!) applied to a lot of globe numbers.

ibig mong sabihin na zero internet for the whole duration of the promo? kasi nagyon araw lang nakasurf lang ako ng hangang 9mb gamit ang default apn na http.globe.com.ph tapos wala na, nasuscribe ako sa gosakto na unlimeted internet 1 month...or maybe baka nakain lang niya yung dapat sanay ngayong araw ko na data..try ko lang bukas, sana gagana...sa 28 pa ito maexpire...megad!

tama ka, kakapansin ko lng kaninang umaga nag dl kasi ako ng episode 1 ng mga bagong labas na anime tapos bglang nawala net fb lng ung pwede, eto ata kasi ung inayos ng globe nung nag "system activity" sila nung october 3-4 ung text nila, hayy, anyway salamat po sa nag post, sana may bago ulit , fvck u Globobo

Just for the entire day lang naman. It will still refresh at 12am pero there were occassions na hindi na nag refresh sakin parang galit na galit ung globe sakin nung araw na un kaka pilit ko.

Yeah KJ na ang Globe ngayon. This was the only reason why I sticked to globe and actually gave high praises to them to the point na sinabi ko pa sa sila ang best ISP in the Philippines but now... meh. I'm planning to switch to Smart until someone comes up with a new way to bypass that stupid Globe FUP. Until then my P1k/month goes to Smart.

Working pa naman sakin naka pocket wifi ako 4 kami nagamit medjo mabagal minsan at minsan ayaw mag play anime vids etc. Pero d ako na ffup at mas maganda naman to kesa sa fup ka magdamag haha. Update naman mga expert. Saka bakit ganun pag nag dodownload ako napuputol. Meron bang ibang apps para sa android pang download

na tested ko na po eto mga 3.2 GB po magagamit mo all in all sa 1 day supersurf .Gamitin lng po muna ung default apn for 800mb tapos 800mb din sa MGC gamit ang porxifier tapos times 2 in 1 day tapos refresh sa 12:00am

is it possible to dl 10gb a day? what is your experience so far? ty

So I said earlier on this thread that I was gonna switch to Smart.. Well guess what?!, I just bought the Smart LTE sim that came with the Plug-it modem (powered by 4G) for P600 just around 30 mins ago. I hurried home and had it loaded with P50 and registered to the LTE 50. I was so excited to try it out as someone coming from Globe expecting it is better but OMFG!!! This is probably the most pathetic thing in the universe right now. I tried watching a YøùTùbé vid and naghihingalo ung "LTE" sa 144P resolution... THAT IS 144P THE LOWEST YOU CAN GO ON YøùTùbé! USING A SMART -->LTE<-- DEVICE AND SIM! Tried playing League of Legends on Garena and HOLY EFFING SHT! I WON'T EVEN BOTHER EXPLAINING HOW LAGGY THIS POS IS. Kung pede lang bumalik sa past binatukan ko siguro ko ung sarili ko ng 10 beses para pambili nlang sana ng pagkain ung P600 ko. It is just a piece of junk that's going to collect dust here sa bahay. nothing more. Caveat Emptor? No! Just effin stay away from it! Please feel free to laugh at me.. I deserve it! ang saklap!

The conclusion?: I guess we're all f***ed! Just look at the state of the available internet services here in our country. We're in the middle of this pile of wreck surrounded by the likes of Smart, Globe, Sun, PLDC and to top it all off, there is the NTC Chairman saying "pay more for faster internet!" as if prices aren't high enough! New Globe bypass please......

blethial, about your smart sim, are you sure you're getting a 4g signal?

nanotice ko sa smart, mabagal pag umaga-gabi, madaling araw lang talaga mabilis. bipolar ang signal. lte sim to pero 3g lang ang signal kasi malayo sa smart tower.
