Speeding Ticket© Motor1.com The country bases speeding fines on the person's income, and this is one of the wealthiest people in the country. No one likes getting a speeding ticket, but we suspect Finnish businessman Anders Wiklöf is smarting after getting his recent citation. The staggering fine was the equivalent of $129,400 (121,000 euros). Wiklöf was traveling 51 miles per hour (82 kilometers per hour) in a 31-mph (50-kph) zone. He told the Nya Åland newspaper that the road switched from a 44-mph (70-kph) limit down to 31 mph. He claimed he was slowing down, but not before the police caught him speeding. "I really regret the matter and hope that the money is in any case used for healthcare through the treasury," he said in a...

The natives wore loincloths and carried bows and arrows. This happened along the banks of the Envira River, which is near the Peruvian border. One of the villagers gave bananas to two of the natives, wary of approaching him, as they quickly grabbed the fruit and retreated out of arm’s reach. Brazilian experts said that the indigenous people were likely crossing the border from Peru, as they were facing pressure from îllégâl logging and drug...
The dark web – level 3 The idea of the dark web tends to bring to mind images of hoodie-clad häçkers in dark basements like some kind of parallel economy or the Illuminati of the Internet. However, the reality is both more mundane and insidious. To access the dark web, you need anonymity software, such as Tor which was developed by the US government initially to protect military communications. The dark web first broke into the popular consciousness with narcotics; however, law enforcement is shutting drug markets faster and with greater regularity. Then, there are häçking tools, where you can buy malware or different phishing tools. There are also personal data leaked from häçks, people sell lists of email addresses, social security...

Snakes have an ability to regurgitate food if they change their mind on what they ate, but vets at Adelaide University in Australia were not convinced that Winston was going to regurgitate even if he tried, so they operated on the python. The snake drama unfolded when Winston’s owner used the tongs to feed a dead rat to him, which he then gripped on to. The owner was unable to free the tongs, so he left them with Winston only to return later to find that the snake had swallowed them whole. Vets reported that the pet will make a good recovery. Meanwhile, Japanese coast guards said the missile had...
SINGAPORE: China's defense minister warned Sunday against establishing NATO-like military alliances in the Asia-Pacific, saying they would plunge the region into a "whirlpool" of conflict. Li Shangfu's comments came a day after US and Chinese military vessels sailed close to each other in the flashpoint Taiwan Strait, an incident that provoked anger from both sides. The local media outlet reported that the employee had surgery due to an anorectal problem in December 2014 but the pain persisted months later. He said his health condition forced his need to stay in the toilet from three to six hours every day starting in July 2015. Official records of the unnamed company in Tianjin state that Wang, for instance, used the loo over 20 times from Sept. 7 to...

Wala siguro hati si Madam Imee kaya umalma Senator Imee Marcos feared that the proposed Philippine sovereign wealth fund might suffer the same fate as Malaysia's 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) which was hounded by graft issues. Talagang disaster ang nangyari sa kanilang 1MDB na nakurakot na yung pera, ibinagsak pa ang buong pamahalaan at yung partido na nag-umpisa sa Republika ng Malaysia," Marcos said in a chance interview. Heads up to pretty much everyone—Google will be coming after user accounts that haven’t been used in the last two years. Inactive accounts will be deleted starting December 1, 2023 as part of Google’s new policy to strengthen its security and protection. According to Google, inactive accounts are ten times less likely to have a two-step verification set up that makes it vulnerable to online häçks. “If an account hasn’t been used for an extended period of time, it is more likely to be compromised. This is because forgotten or unattended accounts often rely on old or re-used passwords that may have been compromised,” Google wrote in a blog post. “To reduce this risk, we are updating our inactivity policy for Google Accounts to two...

The Senator explained that combing his facial hair is part of his regular grooming routine. He admitted that his mustache tends to become itchy when he wears a face mask. “Sa mga nagbibigote, sasang-ayon sa akin yung mga nagbibigote na hindi ibig sabihin na kapat nagsusuklay ka, ikaw ay naiinip. Hindi po. ‘Yan po ay una, tinatanggal mo ‘yung kati. Makati eh. “Bakit po makati? Kasi mahirap po sa lahat ‘yang naka-mask ka at may bigote ka kasi po sa loob, nagtutusok-tusok yan,” Padilla explained. Source: MSN
