About po ba ito previous thread mo? Same lang din po tayo ng computation, I used both functions Correl and Pearson in Excel. You may also try the SPSS, medyo pricey nga lang.

Thank you po!

It is unfortunate to say po but as far as I know, you should use a non-parametric test dahil ang data set niyo ay ordinal o naka-rank. Pearson R is for ratio and/or interval data. Kung may time pa, I recommend you to change your test into Spearman's Rho, ito ay alternative ng Pearson R. Consult niyo rin po 'yung teacher niyo for more clarification.

A z-test is used to test a Null Hypothesis if the population variance is known, or if the sample size is larger than 30, for an unknown population variance. A t-test is used when the sample size is less than 30 and the population variance is unknown.

Kung mas mataas ang calculated value kaysa sa critical value, reject the null hypothesis and accept the alternative hypothesis, and vice versa.

Anyway, about nga pala dito sa ni-send ni Sir Eric, in your case, you will not use any of the two, ginagamit lang po ang dalawa if you aim to know the difference between two variables.
