The Philippine Statistics Authority announced that the various formats of the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) digital ID, including the printed ePhilID, would now be accepted as valid and sufficient proof of identity and age. This would serve as an alternative ID for those who still have not yet received their physical National ID card.
