COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY STUDENT ARRESTED FOR FACEBOOK häçkING

The PNP CYBERCOPS arrested a computer technology student in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija after demanding money from his victim for not uploading and distributing her **** photographs and *** videos on the social media. PSSUPT MARNI C MARACOS JR, Director of the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group said that the entrapment operation was conducted on May 3, 2017 at around 1:20 in the afternoon led by PSUPT MA IVY P CASTILLO, Supervisor of Women and Children Protection Section (WCPS) of PNP ACG in coordination with the Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office and the owner of money transfer in Cabanatuan City. The suspect was arrested in Paco Roman St. Brgy. Supermarket Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija after claiming the demand money. The suspect was identified as Ronald Ecaro y Trinidad, 18 years old, male, single, 2nd year Associate in Computer Technology student and a resident of no. 312 MS. Garcia, Cabanatuan City. According to PSSUPT MARCOS, the mother of one of the victim who is a minor (17 year old) filed a complaint on May 1, 2017 regarding her daughter who was victimized of häçking her Facebook Account. Based on the initial investigation conducted by WCPS, the suspect was able to victimized eight (8) female victims. The modus of the suspect is to monitor the Facebook Account of his would be victim. MARCOS said that the suspect is using social engineering technique to obtain passwords of the Facebook account of his victim through asking the cellular phone of one of the friends of the victim. The purpose of asking the cellular number is to reset the password of the Facebook account of his would be victims. if the password of the FB account was reset, he will then look for saved **** pictures and sexual activities on their messenger”, he further said. “If the suspect was able to see that there are **** pictures on their messenger, he will ask for money in exchange of deleting, not uploading it to Internet, and sharing it to their social media friends, the official said. Confiscated on the position of the suspect were Cherry Mobile Model Flare J1 Plus with a Touch Mobile (TM) Prepaid Sim, Nokia Model: RM-1134 with Touch Mobile (TM) Prepaid Sim, Payout Money amounting to Php 2,500.00 and another Payout Money amounting to Php100, and School ID bearing his photo and name. The suspect will be charged for violation of Art. 294 of RPC (Robbery with violence and intimidation) committed by, through or with the use ICT pursuant to section 6 of RA 10175, RA 9995 (Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009), and section 33(a) (häçking) of Republic Act 8792 (E-Commerce Act of 2000).

to gain someones account you can see everything even those a person private stuff they dont want them to show in public. thats where blackmail, extortion, exposing explicit photo to other website. etc. comes alongs.
